Shiseido Unveils New Lifting Serum

The Vital Perfection Intensive SculptDefine Serum is fronted by Anne Hathaway and comes in a luxe gold bottle.

Shiseido introduced a new era of lifting skincare with the launch of Vital Perfection Intensive SculptDefine Serum.

This is the first serum in the Vital Perfection line to approach skin improvement inspired by world-leading technology for facial sagging.

Powered by Shiseido’s proprietary D-AminoLift Complex, the formula helps support skin’s strength for enhanced definition and a visibly lifted appearance.

Watercress Extract helps support the skin’s natural collagen for improved firmness, and 4MSK, Shiseido’s exclusive brightening ingredient, promotes a more even, radiant complexion and helps diminish the appearance of dark spots and dullness over time.

Virginie Bourliere, Senior Vice President, Marketing at Shiseido Americas, said:

“Vital Perfection is Shiseido’s number one franchise globally and a top priority in the U.S. market. Intensive SculptDefine Serum showcases our scientific expertise, translating years of R&D innovation into visible results, delivered with the precision that defines Japanese beauty.”

To support the launch and deepen its commitment to consumer education around skin health, Shiseido has partnered with New York-based board-certified dermatologist Shoko Mori, MD, for an ongoing collaboration that begins with this introduction and continues beyond it.

The partnership reflects a shared, intentional approach to skin health, rooted in prevention, consistency, and advanced research.

As a Japanese American dermatologist, Dr. Mori brings both clinical authority and cultural fluency to the partnership.

Her practice emphasizes prevention, early detection, individualized care, and long-term skin health, principles closely aligned with Shiseido’s approach to skincare.
